ALEX LUPATO UND ALIA MARCELLINI SIND DIE NEUEN ENDURO-ITALIANMEISTER

Nach der UCI Mountainbike Marathon-WM gestern in Wolkenstein wurden heute zum Abschluss des Hero Bike Festivals in Canazei im Fassatal noch die Enduro-Italienmeisterschaften ausgetragen. Bei den Herren gewann Alex Lupato, vor Martino Fruet und Denny Lupato. Bei den Frauen holte Alia Marcellini den Italienmeistertitel. Zweite wurde Anna Oberparleiter und dritte Sara De Leo.

Ein weiterer Tag ganz im Zeichen von Sport, Adrenalin und „dicken Reifen“ spielte sich heute rund um den Sellastock ab, gleich am Tag nach den UCI Marathon Weltmeisterschaften HERO. Wieder stellten die Dolomiten das prächtige Szenario, diesmal für die Italienischen FCI Meisterschaften im Enduro, der jüngsten und aufregendsten Variante des Mountainbikens.

Der Wettbewerb sah vier „Stages“ vor, Downhill-Strecken mit Zeitmessung, die durch Transfer-Etappen miteinander verbunden waren. Am Schluss des Renntages ging das Sieger-Trikot mit der Trikolore an Alex Lupato vom FRM Factory Racing Team, der sich gegen die äußerst kämpferische Konkurrenz von club Martino Fruet vom Carraro Team - Trentino - Ale' durchsetzen konnte, welcher den zweiten Platz belegte. Auf dem dritten Platz landete Denny Lupato vom Tribe Team.


„Das Rennen von heute war sehr wichtig für uns und bereitet dieser extrem attraktiven Disziplin Enduro den Weg in die Zukunft des Leistungssports“, erklärte Renndirektor William Basilico. „Sowohl bei den Männern als auch bei den Frauen konnten wir ein extrem hohes sportliches Niveau verzeichnen.“

Hart umkämpft war auch der Sieg bei der Frauen, doch zur Königin über die vier Stages wurde schließlich Alia Marcellini vom GB Rifar Racing Team gekrönt, die sich nun über den Titel der italienischen Meisterin freuen darf. Den zweiten Platz eroberte Anna Oberparleiter von Carraro Team - Trentino - Ale' während der dritte Platz an die Vertreterin des Teams Dream Team Genova Ancillotti ging, Sara De Leo.

„Mit dem Enduro-Rennen geht das HERO Bike Festival 2015 zu Ende. Es waren neun Tage voller Events, die das Potential des Mountainbikes ganz deutlich gezeigt haben. Nicht nur als Sportart, sondern auch als Instrument touristischer Entwicklung“, sagte Gerhard Vanzi, Präsident des Organisationskomitees. „Jetzt werden wir fest daran arbeiten, die Dolomiten zu einer Kult-Destination für Biker aus der ganzen Welt zu machen!“

ALEX LUPATO AND ALIA MARCELLINI ARE THE NEW ITALIAN ENDURO CHAMPIONS

After the UCI Marathon World Championships of yesterday today was the day when the Dolomites crowned the Italian Enduro Alex Lupato who beat Martino Fruet into second place . Third was Denny Lupato.
In the female race first was Alia Marcellini ahead of Anna Oberparlaiter, whilst finishing in third place was Sara De Leo.

Yet another day of sport and pumping adrenaline for  mountain biking in the Dolomites, this time around the Sella Group, this event following on from Saturday’s Sellaronda HERO which hosted the UCI World Marathon. Today the Dolomites played host to the FCI Italian Enduro Championships, the most thrilling of the mountain bike disciplines.


The competition was made up of four “special runs”, on timed downhills with transfers in between. At the end of the day’s spectacular the winner was Alex Lupato racing for FRM Factory Racing Team who fought off the attacks of Martino Fruet racing for Carraro Team - Trentino - Ale'. Third place on the podium went to Denny Lupato racing for Tribe Team.

 

«Today’s race has been an important one for us as it sets out the future road for us to follow in taking forward this attractive enduro discipline. Both in the mens race and the ladies race too we had a relly high level of competition», explained William Basilico.

In the womens race too there was much competition but at the end of the day the new queen of this 4 PS was Alia Marcellini racing for GB Rifar Racing Team, she now can declare herself national champion. Behind her finished Anna Oberparleiter racing for Carraro Team - Trentino - Ale', whilst third place went to Sara De Leo racing for Dream Team Genova Ancillotti.

«With the conclusion of this enduro event we also bring to a close the HERO Bike Festival 2015, 9 days of events which have demonstrated the potential of the mountain bike, not only in  a competitive sporting sense but as a means of and an opportunity to promote tourism. - This the conclusion of Gerhard Vanzi, President of the Organising Committee. - Now we have to work in a manner so that the Dolomites can become a cult destination for bikers from all over the world».

ALEX LUPATO E ALIA MARCELLINI SONO I NUOVI CAMPIONI ITALIANI DI ENDURO

Dopo il mondiale UCI Marathon di ieri oggi le Dolomiti hanno consegnato il titolo italiano Enduro a Alex Lupato che ha battuto Martino Fruet. Al terzo posto Denny Lupato.
Nella classifica femminile successo di Alia Marcellini davanti a Anna Oberparleiter, mentre a chiudere il podio troviamo Sara De Leo.

E’ stata un’altra giornata di sport e adrenalina da “ruote grasse” quella vissuta oggi intorno al massiccio del Sella, proprio il giorno successivo ai Campionati  Mondiali UCI Marathon della Südtirol Sellaronda HERO. Le Dolomiti sono state lo scenario Campionato Italiano FCI di enduro, la variante più adrenalinica dell’universo mountain bike.

Al termine della giornata di gara la maglia tricolore è andata a Alex Lupato del FRM Factory Racing Team che ha sconfitto l’agguerrita concorrenza di Martino Fruet del club Carraro Team - Trentino - Ale' a cui è andata la piazza d’onore. Terzo gradino del podio al biker Denny Lupato del team Tribe Team.

«Quella di oggi è stata una gara importante per noi, che traccia la strada verso un futuro agonistico in una disciplina dall’alto contenuto attrattivo come l’enduro – spiega il race director William Basilico – e sia nella gara maschile che in quella femminile, abbiamo avuto un livello agonistico estremamente qualificato».

Anche per quanto riguarda la classifica femminile si sono viste scintille, ma alla fino la regina di queste 4 PS è stata Alia Marcellini della formazione GB Rifar Racing Team, che si fregia del titolo tricolore. Alle sue spalle ha chiuso Anna Oberparleiter della squadra Carraro Team - Trentino - Ale', mentre a chiudere il podio troviamo l’atleta del Dream Team Genova Ancillotti Sara De Leo.

«Con la prova di enduro abbiamo portato a termine l’HERO Bike Festival 2015, 9 giorni di eventi  che hanno dimostrato la potenzialità della mountain bike non solo come strumento agonistico, ma come opportunità di promozione turistica – ha concluso Gerhard Vanzi, presidente del comitato organizzatore – ed ora dobbiamo lavorare perché le Dolomiti possano diventare una destinazione culto per i biker di tutto il pianeta».
