► PEDALARE CON I CAMPIONI DEL MONDO
Sabato 27 giugno 2015 scatterà la sesta edizione della Südtirol Sellaronda HERO che assegnerà il titolo di campione mondiale UCI marathon. Ad aprire il gruppo di 4.015 partecipanti (1 in più rispetto all’edizione 2014) ci sarà la griglia riservata a 100 uomini e 50 donne elite in rappresentanza delle nazioni partecipanti, il meglio del movimento mondiale delle lunghe distanze. Sono stati migliorati nei punti più critici i due percorsi che in questi anni hanno reso epica la gara dolomitica: il tracciato lungo di 85 km con 4.500 metri di dislivello per gli uomini e il percorso corto di 60 km con 3.400 metri di dislivello per le donne.

► MIT DEN WELTMEISTERN IN DIE PEDALE TRETEN
Am Samstag, dem 27. Juni 2015, wird bei der sechsten Auflage des Südtirol Sellaronda HERO, der Titel des UCI Marathon Weltmeisters verliehen. Das Rennen mit seinen 4.015 Teilnehmern (1 mehr als im Vorjahr) wird von einem Startfeld eröffnet, das für 100 Männer und 50 Frauen aus der Elite-Kategorie reserviert ist, welche die teilnehmenden Nationen repräsentieren und die Crème de la Crème der Langstreckendisziplin weltweit darstellen. Sie messen sich auf den beiden Strecken, die in einigen Engstellen verbessert wurden, und das Dolomiten-Rennen in den letzten Jahren zum Mythos haben werden lassen: die 85-km-Strecke mit einem Höhenunterschied von 4.500 Metern für die Männer, und die kurze, 60-km-Strecke mit 3.400 Höhenunterschied für die Frauen.

The sixth edition of the Südtirol Sellaronda HERO will be on Saturday 27 June and the race will be the UCI World Championships marathon. Leading the 4015 participants (1 more than in the 2014 race)  will be the grid reserved to 100 men and 50 women, all of the elite category and representing the participating countries. The two routes have been further improved in some of the mo0st critical points. They are the cream of long distance mountain bike racing and they will compete over the two routes which over recent years have celebrated the now famous Dolomites marathon: the long mens 85 km route with 4500 metres of altitude difference and the shorter womens 60 km race with 3400 metres altitude difference

► HERO 2015:
IL 01 SETTEMBRE IL VIA ALLE ISCRIZIONI
Per la Südtirol Sellaronda HERO 2015, che si vestirà dei panni iridati, si aprono le iscrizioni: dal 01 settembre con la formula “pacchetto” che prevede il soggiorno da 4 a 8 giorni, mentre dal 01 ottobre le iscrizioni con il solo pettorale. Dal 20 al 28 giugno 2015 le Dolomiti ospiteranno l’HERO BIKE FESTIVAL con l’evento clou, il Campionato Mondiale UCI Marathon, in programma sabato 27 giugno. Una settimana con cinque gare e otto eventi collaterali, con spettacoli, concerti e dibattiti su temi del turismo, senza dimenticare numerose escursioni guidate in bici per scoprire la bellezza, la storia e la cultura delle Dolomiti.

AM 1. SEPTEMBER STARTEN DIE AMMELDUNGEN
Bald starten die Anmeldefristen für den Südtirol Sellaronda HERO 2015, der als UCI Marathon Weltmeisterschaft ausgetragen wird: Vom 1. September an kann man sich für die „Pauschalangebote“ anmelden, die einen Aufenthalt von vier bis acht Tagen mit einschließen, während am 1. Oktober die Anmeldefrist für die reinen Startnummern beginnt. Vom 20. bis 28. Juni 2015 findet in den Dolomiten das HERO BIKE FESTIVAL statt, dessen wichtigster Event, die UCI Marathon Weltmeisterschaften, am Samstag, dem 27. Juni über die Bühne geht. Eine ganze Woche mit insgesamt fünf Rennen und einem Rahmenprogramm aus acht weiteren Events, mit Spektakeln, Konzerten und Diskussionsrunden zu Tourismus-Themen sowie zahlreichen geführten Radtouren als Entdeckungsreisen zur Schönheit, Geschichte und Kultur der Dolomiten.

► HERO 2015:
RACE REGISTRATION OPENS ON SEPTEMBER 1st
Registrations for the Südtirol Sellaronda HERO 2015, which this year will have the honour of being the World Championship event, are about to open: from the 1^st September you can register if interested in the “package formula” which includes a 4 to 8 day stay, and if interested in registering for the race only your first opportunity will be from the 1^st October. In 2015, from the 20^th to 28^th June the Dolomites will play host to the HERO BIKE FESTIVAL, with the highlight event being the UCI Marathon World Championship race, it scheduled for Saturday 27^th June. 5,000 bikers from 50 countries are expected to take part. A week with 5 races and eight support events programmed. There will be concerts, events and seminars on tourism themes, and also many guided bike excursions so as to discover the history, culture, and beauty of the Dolomites.

Sellaronda HERO Tour

► L’ EMOZIONE HERO CONTINUA…

Durante l’estate puoi rivivere assieme ai tuoi amici le forti emozioni della HERO nella straordinaria scenografia delle Dolomiti, pedalando su e giù (soprattutto giù…) per sentieri, anche grazie all’aiuto degli impianti di risalita seguendo la proposta HERO TOUR. Grazie a impianti di risalita confortevoli, per la maggior parte della ditta altoatesina LEITNER ropeways, il dislivello da pedalare si riduce da 3.730 hm a 450 hm.

Con quale mountain bike? Come preferisci: dalla versione classica oppure in stile enduro, la nuova tendenza che promette di trasmettere forti emozioni e adrenalina… Potete godervi il giro intorno al Sella accompagnati dalle nostre Guide di Mountain Bike alla scoperta dei rifugi in quota che offrono piatti tipici ad alto contenuto energetico studiati appositamente per i biker. Perché una escursione in mtb non sia solo un colpo di pedale, ma molto di più.

► DAS ERLEBNIS HERO GEHT WEITER...
Im Sommer können Sie gemeinsam mit Ihren Freunden Ihren eigenen, unvergesslichen HERO vor der außergewöhnlichen Kulisse der Dolomiten erleben. Radeln Sie im Rahmen der HERO TOUR auf und ab über Bergwege (vor allem abwärts...) und bedienen Sie sich dabei ruhig auch der Bergbahnen. Dank der bequemen Aufstiegsanlagen, die zum Großteil vom Südtiroler Unternehmen LEITNER ropeways stammen, reduziert sich der mit dem Bike zu bewältigende Höhenunterschied von 3.370 auf 450 Höhenmeter.

Mit welchem Mountainbike Sie fahren? Sie haben die Qual der Wahl: Entscheiden Sie sich entweder für das klassische Modell oder für ein Enduro-Bike, den neuen Trend, der ganz besonders adrenalinsatte Erlebnisse verspricht... Bei der Tour rund um die Sella in Begleitung unserer Mountainbike-Guides können Sie Berghütten entdecken, in denen Sie sich typische und besonders energiereiche Gerichte schmecken lassen, die eigens für Biker entwickelt wurden. Damit Sie auf Ihrer MTB-Tour nicht nur in die Pedale treten, sondern rundum etwas erleben.

► THE HERO ADVENTURE CONTINUES…
During the summer and together with your friends you will be able to experience all the emotions of the HERO and take in the wonderful Dolomites landscape. The HERO TOUR enables you to bike on much of the HERO route and thanks to a little help from the easy accessible lift systems, the majority of which belong to a South Tyrolean company, LEITNER ropeways, the total elevation gain drops from 3730 hm to 450 hm!

Which is the best mountain bike to use? The choice is yours: a standard version or perhaps an ‘enduro’ model, it the new alternative which is sure to get the adrenalin pumping and enable you to absorb all the thrills of this mountain sport. Think about doing the tour of the Sella Group accompanied by one of our Mountain Bike Guides and discover one or more of the mountain hut restaurants up on high which are proposing a menu based on local dishes with a high energy value and prepared especially with bikers in mind. Remember that a mountain bike excursion is much more than a simple ride!
