IL 01 SETTEMBRE IL VIA ALLE ISCRIZIONI
Per la Südtirol Sellaronda HERO 2015, che si vestirà dei panni iridati, si aprono le iscrizioni: dal 01 settembre con la formula “pacchetto” che prevede il soggiorno da 4 a 8 giorni, mentre dal 01 ottobre le iscrizioni con il solo pettorale. Dal 20 al 28 giugno 2015 le Dolomiti ospiteranno l’HERO BIKE FESTIVAL con l’evento clou, il Campionato Mondiale UCI Marathon, in programma sabato 27 giugno. Una settimana con cinque gare e otto eventi collaterali, con spettacoli, concerti e dibattiti su temi del turismo, senza dimenticare numerose escursioni guidate in bici per scoprire la bellezza, la storia e la cultura delle Dolomiti.

AM 1. SEPTEMBER STARTEN DIE AMMELDUNGEN
Bald starten die Anmeldefristen für den Südtirol Sellaronda HERO 2015, der als UCI Marathon Weltmeisterschaft ausgetragen wird: Vom 1. September an kann man sich für die „Pauschalangebote“ anmelden, die einen Aufenthalt von vier bis acht Tagen mit einschließen, während am 1. Oktober die Anmeldefrist für die reinen Startnummern beginnt. Vom 20. bis 28. Juni 2015 findet in den Dolomiten das HERO BIKE FESTIVAL statt, dessen wichtigster Event, die UCI Marathon Weltmeisterschaften, am Samstag, dem 27. Juni über die Bühne geht. Eine ganze Woche mit insgesamt fünf Rennen und einem Rahmenprogramm aus acht weiteren Events, mit Spektakeln, Konzerten und Diskussionsrunden zu Tourismus-Themen sowie zahlreichen geführten Radtouren als Entdeckungsreisen zur Schönheit, Geschichte und Kultur der Dolomiten.

► HERO 2015:
RACE REGISTRATION OPENS ON SEPTEMBER 1st
Registrations for the Südtirol Sellaronda HERO 2015, which this year will have the honour of being the World Championship event, are about to open: from the 1^st September you can register if interested in the “package formula” which includes a 4 to 8 day stay, and if interested in registering for the race only your first opportunity will be from the 1^st October. In 2015, from the 20^th to 28^th June the Dolomites will play host to the HERO BIKE FESTIVAL, with the highlight event being the UCI Marathon World Championship race, it scheduled for Saturday 27^th June. 5,000 bikers from 50 countries are expected to take part. A week with 5 races and eight support events programmed. There will be concerts, events and seminars on tourism themes, and also many guided bike excursions so as to discover the history, culture, and beauty of the Dolomites.

XCE & XCO in Val Gardena Gröden

► TORNANO LE PROVE XCE E XCO IN VAL GARDENA

Weekend ad alto tasso di adrenalina quello che è in programma in Val Gardena tra sabato 12 e domenica 13 luglio, quando le strade di Ortisei e i sentieri di Monte Pana a Santa Cristina ospiteranno due competizioni di mountain bike di assoluto livello. L’ Eliminator internazionale vedrà i migliori atleti della specialità a contendersi il ricco montepremi, mentre il cross country a Monte Pana è valido per il GP MTB d’Italia.
Entrambe le manifestazioni saranno parte del programma HERO BIKE FESTIVAL dei Campionati del Mondo UCI Marathon 2015 che vedrà assegnare il titolo mondiale nella giornata di sabato 27 giugno. In Val Gardena si respira già aria mondiale.

► DIE TESTRENNEN XCE UND XCO KOMMEN WIEDER NACH GRÖDEN

In knapp einer Woche steht in Gröden wieder ein spannendes und hochkarätiges Mountainbike-Rennwochenende auf dem Programm. Am Samstag, den 12. Juli wird im Zentrum von St. Ulrich bereits zum zweiten Mal der XC Eliminator ausgetragen, während am Sonntag, den 13. Juli auf Monte Pana in St. Christina ein nationales Cross-Country-Rennen stattfindet. Beim XC Eliminator, dem spektakuläre Ausscheidungsrennen mit dem Mountainbike, sprinten internationale Top-Athleten um satte Preisgelder.
Das Cross-Country–Rennen auf Monte Pana wird als Italien Grand Prix gewertet. Beide Veranstaltungen gehören 2015 zum „HERO BIKE FESTIVAL“, dem Programm der WM-Woche anlässlich der UCI Marathon WM 2015. Der Weltmeistertitel wird am Samstag, den 27. Juni 2015 vergeben, aber schon jetzt weht in Gröden ein internationaler Wind…

► THE XCE AND XCO RACES ARE BACK IN VAL GARDENA

A weekend of action packed biking is in programme in Val Gardena for Saturday and Sunday the 12th and 13th July when the Ortisei roads and the trails of Monte Pana and Santa Cristina are host to two prestigious mountain bike races. The international Eliminator race will see the specialisation’s best bikers compete for attractive prize-money, whilst the cross country race at Monte Pana is part of the ‘GP MTB d’Italia’.
Both races will also be part of the HERO BIKE FESTIVAL programme of the UCI Marathon 2015 World Championship event which will see the world championship title awarded on the 27th June. Already in Val Gardena there is a buzz in the air as great racing times approach.

Percorsi Sellaronda HERO 2014 - Rennstrecke Sellaronda HERO 2014 - Race Routes Sellaronda HERO 2014

►PERCORSI QUASI PRONTI!!
Il bel #tempo ha favorito lo #scioglimento della neve in quota, la maggior parte dei sentieri della HERO sono agibili.

Solo nella zona di #Arabba i sentieri non sono ancora completamente liberi: nel tratto da Pralongià fino al Passo Campolongo e da Arabba lungo la salita Ornella - Sourasass fino al Passo Pordoi i sentieri sono ancora coperti di neve e pertanto non sono ancora percorribili.
Per la maratona in programma il 21 giugno non escludiamo di dover apportare a causa della neve in quota alcune modifiche al percorso nella zona di Arabba, in particolare nel tratto da Sourasass al Passo Pordoi.

► STRECKEN BEINAHE STARTKLAR!!
Dank des #guten Wetters ist in den oberen Höhenlagen viel Schnee #geschmolzen und der Großteil der Wege, auf denen der HERO entlangführt, ist nun startklar.

Nur im Gebiet von #Arabba sind die Wege noch nicht vollständig schneefrei. Auf den Streckenabschnitten von Pralongià bis zum Campolongo-Pass und von Arabba auf dem Anstieg Ornella-Sourasass bis zum Pordoijoch liegt noch Schnee; sie können bisher noch nicht befahren werden. Wir können daher nicht ausschließen, dass wir die Streckenführung für das Rennen am 21. Juni im Gebiet von Arabba noch etwas modifizieren müssen, speziell im Abschnitt von Sourasass zum Pordoijoch.

► RACE ROUTES ALMOST READY!!
The recent good #weather has helped to #melt the snow in the high mountain areas and most parts of the HERO routes are already in fine race condition.
Just in the area of #Arabba is there snow remaining: in particular on the stretch from Pralongià to Passo Campolongo and from Arabba along the Ornella - Sourasass climb as far as Passo Pordoi.

For the marathon of 21st June it may be necessary to modify some parts of the race route in the Arabba area (the stretch from Sourasass to Passo Pordoi the most likely to be affected), this of course depending on whether the good weather continues and if the snow melts in time.

60 giorni alla grande sfida!

Inizia il countdown..., meno 60 giorni alla quinta edizione della HERO in programma il 21 giugno prossimo.

I percorsi in quota sono ancora coperti da neve, quest'inverno infatti ne è arrivata tantissima, e saranno percorribili e segnalati se la neve lo consentirà dal 01 giugno. I percorsi 84 km e 62 km sono rimasti identici, alcuni tratti sono stati migliorati per renderli più sicuri.
